Mediation is a voluntary process in which the parties to a dispute engage the assistance of a neutral and impartial person (a mediator) to facilitate negotiations between them, with a view to resolving their dispute in an private, confidential and amicable manner.

It is an alternative dispute resolution (ADR) method often referred to as a "facilitated negotiation."

We offer mediation services for a wide spectrum of disputes. For selected cases we provide pro bono services. Please contact us for an enquiry.

Role of the Mediator

The principal role of the mediator is to facilitate communication between the parties in conflict.


He/she will help the parties to reach a voluntary resolution to their dispute that is timely, fair and cost-effective.


Although the mediator manages the meeting and is in charge of the process, he/she should not impose solutions or decisions and has no power to force a settlement.


A solution should only be reached by agreement between the parties - they are responsible for the ultimate resolution of the dispute.

Our mediators are accredited through the Singapore Mediation Centre and Singapore International Mediation Institute.
