What I Do - Education

I work across three areas - consulting, education, and venture building. They're not separate tracks. Each one informs the others, and together they're what makes the work useful.

Not sure which area is most relevant for you? Most engagements end up drawing on more than one. Feel free to reach out and we can figure out what makes sense.

Current and recent topics include:

Innovation & Entrepreneurship
Innovation strategy and culture, entrepreneurship and venture building, technology commercialization, customer discovery and design thinking, lean startup and validation methods, business model design, startup ecosystems.

Strategy & Management
Strategic management, consulting skills and business acumen, organizational culture and change, leadership development, team dynamics and collaboration, decision-making frameworks.

I design and deliver executive education programmes, corporate workshops, and university courses across a wide range of management and leadership topics. I teach the way people actually learn - experiential, discussion-based, and always connected to what participants will apply on Monday morning.

I take responsibility for the full cycle: intake, curriculum design, facilitation, and follow-up. I'm equally comfortable delivering a half-day workshop for a corporate team or a semester-long course for Master’s students. And I'm open to developing new content from scratch based on what the programme and students actually need.

I'm currently an Adjunct Senior Lecturer at NUS's Institute for Engineering Leadership (IDEL), where I've been based for over 13 years - first fulltime, now adjunct. I regularly teach Enterprise Development (MT5920), a graduate course focused on technology commercialization and market innovation for engineering students.

I teach across undergraduate, graduate, MBA, EMBA, and executive levels.

Beyond my university courses, I regularly design and deliver (executive) education programmes for corporate and government clients. These programmes span innovation, entrepreneurship, technology commercialization, leadership, and management development, and are tailored to the specific needs of the organization and participant group. Formats range from intensive multi-day bootcamps to programmes spread over several weeks or months. I've delivered these across Singapore, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East for audiences ranging from mid-level managers to senior executives and government officials.
